train or coach to Kuranda, or take
the Gold Class option and Experience
train travel in style!
Spend approximately 1 hour in
Kuranda before your coach tours the
diverse farmlands of the Tablelands.
Skybury, the Australian Coffee
Centre, is the oldest and largest
coffee plantation in Australia –
enjoy The Coffee Indulgence Tour and
see how coffee is produced and The
Coffee Cupping Tour – for coffee
tasters.
Enjoy a fabulous lunch in the
Plantation Restaurant. Don’t miss
the exquisite coffee ice-cream
desserts. In the afternoon you will
continue onto mysterious Granite
Gorge. A huge granite outcrop with
running streams and an abundance of
wildlife. Feed the natural roaming
Mareeba rock wallabies or take a
swim the rock pools. Your tour

Transfer to Freshwater Railway Station to board the Kuranda Train, travelling up the Kuranda Range stopping at the Barron Falls and continue onto Kuranda Station.
A short walk from the station to the village where you can enjoy a days shopping at the markets or maybe explore Kuranda Birdworld, Butterfly Sanctuary and koala Gardens. Stroll down to Skyrail and board Skyrail back to Caravonica where we will meet you at 12.15, 1.15, 2.15, 3.15, 4.15pm for your transfer back to your accommodation or airport – (luggage stored at our office).
