Cape Tribulation and the Daintree World
Heritage listed rainforest, boasts unique
and beautiful flora and fauna. This tour
includes an early morning guided walk of
Mossman Gorge where you will experience this
ancient rainforest firsthand, or instead
enjoy a refreshing swim. Your expert guides
will interpret the gorge and walk with you,
better understanding of the unique tropical
wonderland.
Continue through sugarcane and the giant
Great Dividing Range arriving at the mighty
Daintree River. There you will catch a river
boat and be guided down the river where
there’s a strong chance of catching a
glimpse of a lazy croc or two or tree snake.
Travel further north over the Daintree River
into the mysterious and awesome Cape
Tribulation area where expert guides will
provide insightful knowledge of the history
and stunning beauty of the area. View the
soaring mountains of Mt Sorrow and Mt
Disappointment, and finally where the
rainforest meets the reef at the Kulki
Lookout.
Lunch at Cape Tribulation Resort and Spa,
sit and relax or swim at the resorts pool.
Your final tour attraction is the Daintree
Discovery Centre. This magnificent aerial
walkway enables you to view the rainforest
canopy from all levels, where their is a
good change you may spot a wild cassowary.
Enjoy afternoon in the rainforest before
crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry
and returning to your accommodation.
